Am I the only person who wonders whether Linux sytems come with their own security blankets?

Mac vs Pcs: As someone who knows, owns, and works with both, I shake my head at the endless debate. It's like arguing whether Star Wars or Star Trek is the better sci-fi. It could go on forever.

Both systems have their advantages, both have their cons. I find it amusing how both camps refuse to learn the other. My company gets a lot of Apple business just because in-house IT departments refuse to learn it. And vice-versa. They're not as different as they seem.

I will also say that Mac's OS X is a gorgeous operating system (and soooooo stable), but I still prefer the way things are done in Windows. I will will probably always be a PC user, but I like Macs a lot, too. In fact, the new G5's have me drooling. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

So, was that too much of a ramble on nerdy things?

And just for the record (and 'cus it was mentioned) I think that Star Trek was much better Sci Fi than Star Wars. Star Wars was better action adventure.
